Judge Jackie Glass denied O.j. Simpson and Clarence Stewart a new trial. She said "the issues raised don't merit a second trial." O.K., everyone expected this as well as it going to the Supreme Court. Big Surprise.
I watched every minute of trial coverage that was on Court T.V. and I think they should get a new trial. The Judge was very restrictive with what the lawyers were allowed to ask the witnesses. It was kinda (yes, I said kinda) like she was trying to rush the case through. Plus In the press conference with some of the jurors they said they threw out the all the testimony and just relied on the video and audio tapes. That's fine I guess for O.J. because he was on all of them. But what about Stewart? I don't remember him being on the audio tapes. How could he be found guilty on all counts? Also how about that Jury foreman. At the press conference he clearly said O.J. should have gotten life in the murder trial. It has also been found the he was dismissed from a job for making racially disparaging remarks. Not really a good choice for a jury member.
O.J. should be locked up for sure, just because he can't seem to stay out of trouble, But under our constitution everybody is to receive a fair trial which I don't believe either defendants got.

Very interesting opinion. I would argue with you.......but can't think of a good arguement. (at the moment)
